How to use the wiki style page

This page is best used in the edit mode so you can see the actual typed icon and expression for the processes discussed.

By putting a dash (-) around a word of phrase, you get this effect

By putting an underscore (_) around a word or phrase, you get this effect

By putting an asterisk (Shift 8) around a word or phrase, you get this effect

By putting an asterisk (Shift 8) and a space in front of a list of items, you get this effect…

  • One
  • Two
  • Three
  • Four

By putting the number sign (#) and a space in front of a list of items, they will be numbered

  1. One
  2. Two
  3. Three
  4. Four

If you want to create a chart effect, use the ( | ) character. Use one, and a space before and after each item in the chart….like this

This Is
The Chart

To create a new Wiki page for a word or phrase, the the cornered bracket ( [ ] ) and double them on each side of the item you wish to make a new page….like this

You can also change the wording you display for the page you want to show…this time see a new page
by adding the same ( | ) character in the middle of the double cornered brackets with the page name listed first and the display text after the symbol.

If you want to reference a character or items from the portal, look up that and get the slug ID, then simply use the doubled cornered brackets again but this time add a colon before the slug, inside the brackets, like this Joel Davis

You can use that same display text trick with slugs as well, like this The new guy
